I had to share this photo! I was out on a photo walk yesterday and came across this! Isn't it the funniest thing you've ever seen? I love how his tongue is sticking out! Got lots of great shots yesterday that I can't wait to post!

Breakfast!!
The weather was so nasty this morning, I decided that I deserved a special treat, a Pistachio Nut Muffin! I don't do this very often, but every once in awhile, I take the plunge. I haven't had one of these baby's in a very long time, so I plan on savoring every single bite! I can't wait for things to settle down, so I can sic my teeth into it's airy goodness. What a morning, a muffin and a steaming hot cup of fresh brewed coffee! Bring the world on, I'll be ready!

Back To Work
Tech Decks At Rest
Tech Decks....my son LOVES these things. For those of you that are out of the loop, Tech Decks are these tiny hand held skateboards, that you use with your fingers instead of your feet. I personally don't get it...but then again I'm not 13 anymore. These tiny decks are all the rage in our neck of the woods. They fly off the shelves as fast as they get restocked. Kids take them with them where ever they go. You don't have to look too hard to find someone practicing an Ollie, a Nollie or Kick Flip. These little boards have been a life saver for the parents of skaters now that the winter has set in.
Skateboarding is outta this world!
Trying To Catch Up
We made it through a New Years Eve snowstorm, and a brutally cold New Years Day (8 degrees, with the wind chill factored in, it was minus 18 degrees), and this was our reward on January 2nd. A beautiful, sunny day! I've never been so happy to see the sun. Even though the sun wasn't bright enough to warm us up all that much, it was pure bliss just to see it again! I'm hoping that all that blustery cold air and the blizzard like conditions are not a sign of things to come this winter. I'd rather have the sun!

Baby It's Cold Outside
I woke up this morning to a temperature of 8 degrees, with the wind chill factored in, it was minus 18 degrees in my neck of the woods. This certainly was not the day to be traveling very far outside. Which I wanted to do, as we had a snowstorm yesterday, and I really wanted to take some "after the storm" photos, but it just wasn't meant to be, I guess. That being said I stayed in, drank lots of hot coffee, wrapped myself in a blanket and settled in for the day. I watched some tv, read a little, and played a few games of Yahtzee with my youngest.
